Dill & Mustard Tuna Salad
WARNING: ALL TUNA HATERS DO NOT CONTINUE…
It’s no secret that tuna is a polarizing food. Either you love it (hello me!) or you can’t even stand being in the same room as someone eating it. As I am part of the former group, I am always trying to come up with recipes to make at home with it. The truth is, while tuna itself can be a great healthy protein source, most tuna salads you buy in stores are filled with canola oil based mayo (note to self: write a post on different oils). Instead, this version gets creamy from avocado and extra flavor from the mustard and dill.
WHAT TO GRAB:
-1 tbsp dijon mustard
-1 package tuna
-chopped dill
-1/4 avocado
-lemon squeeze
-salt and pepper to taste
WHAT TO DO:
Okay guys this one is very difficult… Drain the tuna, add the ingredients to a bowl & EAT. I don’t ever measure when I make this one—it’s really up to your flavor preference. I love to eat it over a bed of lettuce for lunch, or on one of my Greek yogurt bagels for breakfast. So yummy, so simple, what more could you want?
