Registered Dietitian

We help you feel good about food. Period.

At MPM Nutrition, we don’t label foods as “good” or “bad,” nor do we focus on what not to eat. Instead, we guide our clients to eat more real, whole foods that align with their individual preferences, lifestyle, and goals.

One-on-One Nutrition Counseling in Manhattan

WE BELIEVE GOOD NUTRITION IS A POWERFUL TOOL TO HELP UNLOCK A HEALTHIER, MORE EMPOWERED LIFE.

Our team takes a personalized approach to nutrition counseling—getting to know each client’s full story so we can support their journey forward with clarity and compassion. Marissa, our founder, is trained in Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), and as a team we emphasize a mindful, sustainable relationship with food.

We help our clients unlearn diet culture’s rigid food rules and reconnect with the wisdom of their own bodies. Because true wellness, in our eyes, lives somewhere between the Whole Foods produce aisle and the line for Ample Hills ice cream.

WE’VE GOT YOUR COVERED

Personalized Meal Planning & Holistic Nutrition

In our 1:1 Coaching program we offer a personalized nutrition approach that helps you reconnect with your body, make mindful food choices, and build lasting habits—free from the overwhelm of dieting.

What to Expect from an In-Person Session

Our In-Person sessions are held at 1123 Broadway in the Flatiron neighborhood.

  • Before we meet with anyone, we offer a free 15 minute phone consultation where we can get to know you and we start to discuss how we can help you meet your goals. *This is no strings attached and meant as a way for us to both decide if we are right for each other!

  • We then schedule an initial session where we delve into your lifestyle. We develop a completely individualized plan based on where you are at and where you would like to go.

  • After the initial session, we schedule follow ups, where we adjust the plan based on what worked.

Insurance, Pricing & Appointment Availability

Session fees and availability varies depending on practitioner. We are an out-of-network practice and we do not communicate directly with any insurance companies. However, if you have network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement.

Clients who are eligible will receive superbills monthly and can submit to their insurance.

    • Are Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)/Nutrition Counseling covered by my out-of-network benefits with CPT code: 97802 (initial assessment) and 97803(follow-up sessions)?
